Yes, it's important.

A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.
— Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

"We know you have a choice in air travel, so we want to thank you for flying with us." There's something quite self-evidential, incontrovertible and polite about that statement that we've all heard at least once. But because it is so true, we can't help but genuinely feel the same. Thank you for choosing us.

One-on-one orthopedic and sports Physical Therapy, emphasizing manual therapy and movement/exercise (re)training. We work with athletes of various backgrounds and ages. Whether you are injured or just wanting to fill in the holes to perform at a higher level, anything is possible.

Initial evaluation usually takes around 1.0 hour and includes treatment as well as a thorough assessment. Subsequent sessions are also 1.0 hour in length.

The facility is within a new space. Come right in.

what to wear

Loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move unencumbered and in an authentic manner. Access to the area in question without the interference of clothing is requested. For legs this is usually just shorts. For arms this can be a tank top or sports bra for women and no shirt for men. For the spine a face-down topless position is the norm at some point. We can adjust to whatever your comfort level.

Sessions are by appointment only. Saturday times are available as well as early or late times on weekdays.

Parking is available via pay stations. Alternatively, all zoned, residential street parking is free on weekdays between the hours of 9a and 6p.

waiting area

If we are still with a patient please make yourself at home.

what to bring

Any written imaging reports, preferably read from a radiologist (that is their specialty, after all:). The medical documentation (his/her notes) from your most recent visit with your physician, if applicable.

payment and insurance

Please refer to Pricing page. Forms of payment include cash or checks or Venmo. Sorry, no credit cards. Checks are made out to "Movement Thru Rehab".

At Movement Thru Rehab we emphasize personal attention and treatment to meet your needs and reserve your appointment especially for you. A missed appointment also interrupts your rehabilitation program and, in partnership, we become less effective in reaching your goals. If you are late for an appointment, you will be seen for the remainder of your scheduled appointment time so that we do not inconvenience other patients scheduled for that day.

As a courtesy to us and our other patients, please call us to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Without proper notification, a fee of 1⁄2 session fee will be charged. Please keep in mind that if the requested notice is provided, then we can better reallocate the time to someone else in need of treatment. This fee is not covered by insurance and is your responsibility to pay at the time of your next visit. Thank you for your cooperation.
